Dr. SaDohl G. Jones, PhD, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS
Dr. SaDohl Jones is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual and group counseling with women, children & adolescents. With over 10 years experience as a mental health clinician. Dr. Jones is committed to total wellness for herself and her clients. She specializes in trauma recovery (childhood trauma, sexual, physical, emotional abuse in women and adolescents), depression, anxiety and relationship recovery. Dr. Jones is also a Gifted Expert providing services to families, school districts and universities in the area of gifted education, counseling, identification and social justice.
Dr. Jones' therapeutic approach focuses on total wellness and balance MIND BODY SPIRIT. Dr. Jones provides supportive, empowering and practical feedback along with empirically sound treatment methods to guide clients effectively through personal life challenges. She integrates complementary techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help empower and guide them toward the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
Georcol Gomillion, MS, LAPC, NCC
Ms. Georcol Gomillion is an Associate Professional Counselor specializing in trauma recovery among women and girls. In a confidential, non-judgmental environment, Ms. Gomillion assists survivors of sexual trauma and abuse, domestic violence, depression, and anxiety find peace and healing despite life's situations and circumstances. She also assists clients with addressing cognitive distortions, irrational thoughts, and self-awareness. With a focus on total wellness, Ms. Gomillion practices mindfulness, meditation, and spirituality in her daily life as well as in her therapeutic treatment approaches. She has clinical experience in working with adolescents and adults in various settings such as public schools, residential facilities, and private practice.
Ms. Gomillion graduated in 2016 from Brenau University, Atlanta, Georgia with her Master's Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. Her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies was earned at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. She is currently earning her Ph.D. in Humanities with concentrations in Africana Studies and Africana Women's Studies at a local university.
Erika Ellis, MS, LAPC, NCC
Erika Ellis has devoted her personal and professional life ensuring others are the most fulfilled, healthiest versions of themselves through the use of problem solving, person introspection, and coping skills. After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Behavior Analysis and Sociology at Savannah State University, Ms. Ellis began applying all she had learned to different spaces in the counseling world. As a behavioral data specialist, Ms. Ellis has lead, assisted, and participated in treatment sessions with children who have had been diagnosed with autism. In 2011, Ms. Ellis took her expertise to a residential treatment facility as a behavior specialist for children who suffered with severe emotional and behavioral issues. As a result of these experiences, Ms. Ellis is well versed in both Human Empowerment Leadership Principles (HELP) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Ms. Ellis is also skilled at providing both group counseling and individual consultation; and keeps both cultural competency and confidentiality at the cornerstone of her work.
In 2015, Ms. Ellis co-founded a nonprofit organization, ACTS of Atlanta, Inc. to help positively reshape youth and rebuild underserved low-income communities. In 2016, Ms. Ellis received her Master’s in School Counseling, and a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Contemporary Mental Health Services at Capella University. Ms. Ellis is a professional school counselor for middle school children. Ms. Ellis specializes in addressing all students’ academic, career and social/emotional development needs by designing, implementing, evaluating, and enhancing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student success. She strives to create an ethically safe space for all cultural and diverse groups. Ms. Ellis understands deeply the power of earning trust through relationship building with children and young adults; which enables them to move towards their goals while feeling heard and supported. Always seeking to learn additional methods, skills, and practices for the clients she commits to serving, Erika Ellis is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Associate Licensed Professional Counselor, and is in the process of obtaining her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
